ABOUT BRADSHAW

Bradshaw Orrell received his Master’s of Fine Arts degree with a focus in Furniture Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design. After grad school, Bradshaw worked as Design Director for Niermann Weeks. Bradshaw moved back to North Carolina in 2003 to join the Baker Furniture team as Lead Designer. While at Baker, Bradshaw introduced several furniture and lighting collections such as Collector’s Edition, Collector’s Edition Lighting and Baker Studio.

Bradshaw opened Bradshaw Orrell Interiors in 2007. One of his first projects was the Proximity Hotel, which was the first LEED© Platinum Hotel in the country. Bradshaw continues to work with Quaintance-Weaver on projects at the Proximity Hotel, Printworks Bistro, O’Henry Hotel and Lucky 32. Other commercial projects include Boulton Creative, Market Square, Genuity Concepts, Biscuitville and the repurposing of Summerfield Farms.

Bradshaw’s residential projects are traditional with a crisp, clean, modern edge. His work ranges from designing homes from the ground up to projects of all sizes. Although Bradshaw focuses equally on residential and commercial projects, he continues to work closely with the furniture industry. He has consulted on product and showroom design for many companies. In 2014, the Bradshaw Orrell Collection for Chelsea House was launched. This collection of lighting, accessories and occasional pieces is a perfect reflection of all of Bradshaw’s interests and influences.
